Transfer from airport to the House of Lotus, Dodanduwa

Dodanduwa is located about 130 km south of Colombo's airport and between the well known towns of Hikkaduwa and Galle.

The taxi transfer from Colombo airport to Dodanduwa takes about 3
hours and can be organised upon request. We use experienced taxi
drivers who will reliably take care of any transfer.

Immigration

European citizen only need a passport valid a minimum of 6 months.
There is no mandatory immunisation but we still recommend that you
talk to your doctor.

Currency, Exchange

The Sri Lankan currency is the Rupie. Due to the better exchange rate
it is advisable to convert your money in Sri Lanka. Generally all
convertible currencies can be exchanged.

Credit Cards

Visa and Mastercard (American Express and Diners acceptance is
limited). On many ATM machines you can draw money with an EC-Card
featuring the Maestro-Symbol and in combination with your PIN code.

Time Difference

The time difference to Europe is 3 ½ to 4 ½ hours, depending on the
summer time.

Clothing

Best is you bring light and comfortable cloths. You always can buy
something necessary at very competitive prices.
